The Rooftop Arts Centre is an artist led not for profit community town centre based space, offering resident artists studios, gallery exhibition halls, photography studio, project space, workshops, and a creative children’s area. Our aim is to encourage people of all abilities to become involved in the arts and provide a safe space in which to flourish , and be involved in creative and experimental art of all genres.

The former Corby Library has been converted into the Rooftop Gallery and Workshops with the following facilities available for hire at reasonable rates:

  • 5 exhibition areas including an expansive gallery space and rooms fit for video/installation pieces.
  • 14 individual studios hired out to local artists.
  • Communal desk space and studio space for occasional use.
  • Classroom area with tables for 16 people.
  • Various comfy seating areas for group work.
  • Children's creative art space.
  • Wi-fi

Our central location means that the premises are easy to access; there is a lift and service lift for moving large materials. It is situated above the town centre allowing access to fantastic light; there is also potential for a sculpture garden in front of the building.
